Priya Adlakha

Priya is a seasoned intellectual property (IP) litigator and strategist with over a decade of experience. She has advised and represented several Fortune 500 companies across the SAARC region, spanning sectors such as hospitality, fashion and luxury, pharmaceuticals, private equity, and infrastructure. Known for her collaborative approach, Priya partners closely with clients to develop branding and brand protection strategies, represent their interests in litigation, negotiate out-of-court settlements, and deliver practical solutions to complex legal challenges.

She leads the firm’s IP Disputes Practice before the lower judiciary and also supervises all appellate matters arising from decisions of the Trademark and Copyright Offices, as well as legacy proceedings from the erstwhile IPAB.

Priya’s expertise spans core soft IP areas—trademark, copyright, and design law—and extends to advertising and marketing disputes, including cases involving comparative advertising, disparagement, and brand dilution. She has spearheaded numerous actions against rogue websites, cyber fraudsters, and credential-harvesting entities, and regularly initiates both civil, criminal and Customs seizures of counterfeit goods.

An active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) since 2012, Priya regularly attends its Annual Meeting and also participates in leading global IP forums such as AIPPI, GIPC, and WLA. She frequently speaks at conferences and writes in publications like Bar & Bench, Mondaq, Lex Witness, and others.
